Tarzan Syndrome

Tarzan lived in the jungle. He traveled by swinging from vine to vine. Tarzan could not let go one vine until he secured the next vine to ensure safe travels.

Which leads me to my point:
In the mist of heart break and break ups a person is normally left with the Tarzan Syndrome.

Tarzan Syndrome- When a person can not move on from a past relationship or fling until finding the next.
The effects of this syndrome is that the person ends up in the same situation over and over again because they haven't allowed themselves to move on.

Advice: An individual should allow themselves to heal from previous heart break before getting involved with a new person.

Valentine's Day: Aftermath!

Valentine's day (V-day)could be full of bliss. However, it could also be full of hurt and confusion for those that didn't know he or she were the "sidechick or sidedude". ITS CALLED GETTING PLAYED! The sidepiece (mistress) would be out shopping and planning V-day as if they are the other person's main piece meanwhile, the other person (THE PLAYER) would be planning for their real mainpiece (Actual lover).

If you are still lost or confused read the following:
  • Did the person you plan to spend your V-day with suddenly make an excuse of why he/she canceled plans, but still made an arrangement to pick up his/her gift?
  •  Was your valentine's celebration based on sexual relations (nightcap)?
  • Did your valentine have other valentines?
If you answered yes to any of these question.
You have been played!!

Valentine's day is too materialistic

Times are changing, in today's society people are spending hundreds of dollars on valentines day gifts. To me there are better ways to wine and dine your valentine. The key to a successful Valentine's Day is not an expensive gift but to cater and spend time with the person you love the most.
