Times are changing, in today's society people are spending hundreds of dollars on valentines day gifts. To me there are better ways to wine and dine your valentine. The key to a successful Valentine's Day is not an expensive gift but to cater and spend time with the person you love the most.
That's how I feel. Its sad that peoiple need a day to justify the love. Expensive gifts should not determine the level of companionship a person has for another.
ReplyDeletethis i agree with. poeple buy hundreds of dollars worth of gifts to get her, keep her, all types of bs.....but if you were broke would she be there? why would you want a relationship based on material things instead of mutual understanding and knowing the other person.
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to know the real value of relationships, not just buying each other stuff, but actually spending time and building things that are priceless.
ReplyDeleteI you treat her right everyday whats V-day to her?
ReplyDeleteJust a thursday in febuary...
I agree, Valentine's Day is about caring, loving and showing affection to a loved one, soulmate, or close friend.
ReplyDeleteAlthough very materialistic, everyone likes to receive some recogintion on Valentines day. However, people should feel appreciated everyday. If that happened, Valentines day would just be another day. People should take time to buy flowers or a card just because its Tuesday, then there wouldnt be so much emphasis on the other made up holidays.
ReplyDeletei hate vday, i dont understand its purpose, and its really not necessary
ReplyDeleteProfessor Daniel, this blog and my second blog should be counted as one because I did them both in the first week.
